Liling Fireworks Expo Opens

On April 21st, the 19th International Fireworks Forum (ISF) and the first Hunan (Liling) Fireworks and Firecracker Industry Expo grandly opened in Liling, Hunan, the hometown of fireworks pioneer Li Tian and the capital of fireworks in China. Government and enterprise representatives, industry experts from over 60 countries including the United States, France, and Germany, as well as distributors and buyers from provinces such as Henan, Liaoning, Shandong, and Guangdong, gathered together to promote the high-quality development of the fireworks industry.

The International Fireworks Forum is known as the "Davos" of the fireworks industry, and is the largest, oldest, and most prestigious top-level event in the global fireworks and firecracker industry. It mainly focuses on discussing topics related to fireworks safety, science, engineering, art, and management. This event is hosted by the International Fireworks Forum Society and the Liling Fireworks and Firecrackers General Chamber of Commerce, with the theme of "Millennium Lilies Blooming in the World", and will last from April 21st to 25th.

The exhibition features a variety of highlights, with four exhibition halls including the International Hall, Brand Hall 1, Ceramic Hall, and Brand Hall 2. The total exhibition area is about 30000 square meters, and 288 booths have attracted fireworks and firecracker products, production machinery and equipment, and fireworks raw materials from all over the world, gathering top experts and well-known enterprises in the industry. At the opening ceremony, dazzling fireworks bloomed with stunning views. Through the four main themes of "Colorful Liling," "Flying Rainbow Weaving Dreams," "Magpie Bridge Welcoming Guests," and "Abundant Achievements," the immersive interpretation of sound, light, and electricity fusion showcased innovative breakthroughs in fireworks art, bringing unprecedented audio-visual experiences to the on-site audience. In the subsequent 2025 Global Liling Fireworks Boutique Show, Liling showcased its fireworks and firecrackers for the first time in the form of a runway show, showcasing both the poetic beauty of traditional fireworks and the innovative cultural and tourism fireworks, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and other technological talents, showcasing Liling's innovative capabilities and technological strength in the fireworks industry.

After more than 1400 years of development, Liling fireworks have formed an industrial cluster integrating fireworks machinery manufacturing, safe drug production, fireworks trade, and fireworks logistics. The products include over 4000 varieties in 9 major categories, selling well in more than 150 countries and regions, accounting for a quarter of the global market share. The advantages of products such as firecrackers, combination fireworks, spray flowers, and small fireworks are particularly prominent.

This year's International Fireworks Forum and Flower Expo will comprehensively innovate in terms of exhibition specifications, modes, content, and activities. They will carry out three preheating activities, four drainage activities, and 22 main activities. During the event, two exhibitions, four conferences, seven international art fireworks exhibitions, and nine seminars will be held, providing a comprehensive and multi-level communication and cooperation platform for participating companies and guests. The holding of this event will help promote the transformation of Liling's fireworks industry towards green high-end, attract more global merchants to sign cooperation agreements, extend the industrial chain, promote the upgrading of "Liling Fireworks" from traditional manufacturing to cultural brands, and inject new momentum into this "Chinese Fireworks Capital".
